Koprivnica will be a springboard for young players from Slaven Belupo who want to play in the First HNL. Director Bači emphasized that this cooperation is a logical move for both clubs, as well as for the many players who come out of Slaven Belupo's football school every year. Tomislav Zalar, president of Koprivnica, thanked the representatives of Slaven Belupo for their support and emphasized that the goals are very high, and that they want to attack the first place next season and win a higher rank. Slaven Belupo will appoint the professional staff of Koprivnica and determine the player squad that will consist of between 20 and 24 players. The sports policy of Koprivnica will be led by Slaven Belupo, while the management of Koprivnica will be responsible for logistical matters. This cooperation will enable young players from Slaven Belupo to develop and prepare for the first league. Vedran Bači and Tomislav Zalar signed the cooperation agreement and thus seriously elevated the cooperation between the two clubs. Koprivnica will play in the Third NL North next season, and the goal is to enter the third rank as soon as possible.
